Planting and caring for trees takes me back to my roots!
When I was growing up my father worked the lumber mill behind our house, and my mother planted apple and pear trees in the backyard. I remember hiking the timber lots in the woods, climbing the big pine trees next to my Grandmother’s house and in the school yard during recess.
My mother comes from a long line of lumbermen and pioneers and my love and respect of trees undoubtedly came from her! So it was the fulfillment of a dream when she and my dad started their own lumber business back in the 1950s. Trees were part of our way of life.
Anywhere I’ve lived, I’ve always planted trees and in my younger days never dreamed that I’d be around to see them grow so big and tall! I love knowing that I planted that!
Trees have always been in my blood, and now I’m starting a tree business where I can help bring the love and joy of planting and raising trees to others.
